Who We Are

Forkit is a restaurant menu recommendation and dining experience platform operated by Forkit LLC. Website: forkit.site. Contact: forkit.company@gmail.com.

What Information We Collect

For restaurant managers: name and email from Google OAuth login, restaurant details including name address cuisine phone and website, menu items ingredients allergens and dish photos, billing information processed by Stripe (we never store card details), usage data including login times and dashboard activity.

For customers using the quiz: dietary restrictions and allergen preferences stored only in your browser localStorage not on our servers, anonymous quiz session data not linked to any personal identity, general analytics including approximate time of day and quiz completion status.

For omakase guests: name, party size, dietary restrictions, allergen information, and special occasion details submitted through guest profile forms. This is shared with the restaurant you are dining at only and stored linked to that restaurant. We do not share this with any other restaurant or third party.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Forkit platform, generate personalized dish recommendations, allow restaurants to manage menus and guest experiences, process subscription payments through Stripe, send service-related notifications, improve the platform through anonymous analytics, and comply with legal obligations.

Who We Share Your Information With

Supabase (database and auth provider, supabase.com/privacy), Stripe (payment processor, stripe.com/privacy), Vercel (hosting provider, vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), Google (OAuth authentication, policies.google.com/privacy). We do not sell rent or trade personal information to any third party for marketing purposes ever.

Data Retention

Restaurant account data retained while account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Customer quiz localStorage data controlled entirely by the user. Omakase guest profiles deleted 90 days after dining date. Anonymous analytics retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to individuals.

Your Rights

Access your data, request correction, request deletion, withdraw consent. Email forkit.company@gmail.com. Response within 30 days.

Children

Forkit is intended for use by individuals 13 years of age and older. The restaurant manager platform is intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use this service or provide any information through it. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information immediately. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at forkit.company@gmail.com. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us should contact us at the same address.

Security

Encrypted connections, Supabase Row Level Security, restricted production access. No method is 100% secure.

Cookies

Authentication cookies for manager login, session cookies for quiz preferences, no advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

We will notify restaurant managers of significant changes by email.
